For 20 local schools and groups, this has been Parliament Week!
Children and young people in schools across Pontefract, Castleford, Knottingley and Altofts have spent the week learning more about how laws are made and how democracy works.
It was great to visit Kings School in Pontefract today where we discussed AI, transport, immigration, youth jobs and training and held a parliament style debate on whether to have votes at 16.
