Your say on dentists

Dental patients in the Five Towns are travelling long distances or are languishing on waiting lists in desperation to get an NHS appointment. Some are even resorting to DIY treatment and extracting their own teeth. It shouldn’t be like this. I’ve met the West Yorkshire commissioning board to urge them to provide more appointments and emergency clinics in the Five Towns. Nationally, a Labour Government would fund NHS dental practices to provide 700,000 more urgent appointments for patients in need of things like fillings and root canal.
